Training is a conversation. And like any good conversation, it changes over time… based on what the dog knows, what I’ve learned about that dog, and what we’re trying to accomplish together. In this clip, I’m focused on buy-in. If I want true arousal modulation, I need to be confident the dog is telling me they’re ready. When that clarity isn’t there, uncertainty tends to leak out as arousal, and that’s where conflict shows up - whining, dancing feet, panting. | Denise Fenzi
